Charlie Mark joined the Intel Saffron Technology Group focused on delivering artificial intelligence and cognitive analytics solutions primarily to the USAF and Space Communities.

A native of New York City, Charlie graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Charlie left Alion Science and Technologies in August 2017 to support the introduction of Saffron to the USAF. He was the President of Inland Lamp which he founded in May 2014. Inland Lamp opened its headquarters in Trotwood, Ohio. Inland Lamp specializes in ruggedized and industrial Light-Emitting Diodes (LED) light technology. Inland Lamp manufactures Made in the USA LED products manufactured by Disabled Veterans. He supported the Mergers & Acquisition requirements for L3 Communications for two years.

He was a Managing Director for Ball Aerospace in Dayton, OH for 8 years, managing information services and supporting approximately 500 personnel in direct support of the DoD Warfighters in the Intelligence Community. He has held numerous senior corporate positions, including CEO of BEAMHIT LLC (Columbia, MD,2000-2004), the premier marksmanship training company in the world; CEO, Surety 2000 (Cincinnati, OH, 2000), an internet-based company offering electronic delivered and execution of surety bonds. He was a Director for Logicon Operations, Northrop Grumman Company (Dayton, OH, 1997-2000), where he managed all activities associated with information technology resident in over 21 laboratories at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base for the Northrop Grumman Information Systems group. Mr. Mark retired as Navy Captain – Commanding Officer & Pilot. He has an SCI/Top Secret/ SSBI/Don-CAS security clearance.
