General Manager, ISight Drone Services

Doug McDonald serves as General Manager for ISight Drone Services that provides flight ops and inspection services for critical energy infrastructure, precision agriculture, insurance, and emergency services clients nationally. As part of his work, Doug oversees and manages over 30 operators in the successful deployment, flight and capture of data for multiple verticals including wind turbines, solar panels, cell towers and electrical utilities. Doug also serves as project manager for BVLOS operations conducted under the authority of North Dakota’s Vantis network.

Doug has roughly 20 years in the drone industry, starting with UAI International and merging with ISight RPV Services in 2017. Doug has served as past president of the Great Plains Chapter of AUVSI and served on the North Dakota Airspace Integration Team that focused on the integration of unmanned aerial systems into the national airspace.
