Deputy Site Lead & Tech Scout, Northrop Grumman

Scott Schofield is the Deputy Site Lead for Northrop Grumman where he leads a team of 115 personnel in operating the premier one-of-kind Grand Sky site that specializes in Aircraft Operations, Mission Engineering, Integrated Logistics, and Software Sustainment. He works closely with local academia, economic development, and government and military customers to provide quality products that support the autonomous industry. Additionally, Scott is always on the hunt for new and discriminating technology as a Tech Scout for the Aeronautics Sector’s Research & Advanced Design (R&AD) division.

Before joining Northrop Grumman, Scott served as a career acquisitions officer in the U.S. Air Force where he executed contracts in support of military base operations, major weapons systems, research and development, and special operations. He holds an MS in Military Operational Arts and Sciences from Air University, an MBA in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, a BS in Economics from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a certificate in Project Management from the University of Texas at Austin, and a U.S. Air Force designation as a Political-Military Affairs Strategist.
