Luna Acosta is the Director of Technology Transfer at Arkansas State University, an R2 university located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is also the Director of the Catalyst Innovation Center, a life-science focused incubator located at the Arkansas Biosciences Institute. An experienced administrator and leader, she is passionate about helping entrepreneurs bring their ideas to market and accelerating the commercialization of innovative & creative products.
Acosta attended Arkansas State University for her MBA, also received a bachelor’s degree in international business and in political science from the same institution. She holds a certificate in Entrepreneurship Center Management.
Acosta was recently selected to serve on the inaugural board for BioArkansas, the BIO-affiliate organization for the state of Arkansas. She serves on Staff Senate at Arkansas State University, on the school board at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Jonesboro, and has served as a reviewer for NSF panels. In her free time, she enjoys working in her garden, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
