Neil Merrett is a research physicist at the Air Force Research Laboratory in the Electrical Systems Branch of the Aerospace Systems directorate. His areas of expertise include wide and ultra-wide bandgap semiconductors for power applications and novel generator designs. Prior to joining AFRL, Neil worked at a small startup making primarily SiC JFETs. Neil obtained his physics degree from Auburn University.
